This week we'll learn more about planning and preparing meals on a budget.
You'll be working with defrosted bread dough to make homemade cinnamon rolls. On Thursday, 1/29, you'll fill, cut, and refrigerate the dough. Then on Friday, 2/1, we'll eat freshly baked and iced cinnamon rolls.

This week we'll focus on food costing, budgeting, and savvy shopping. Since one core will be out every day except Wednesday, our first cooking lab will be next week. On Wednesday, 1/16, we'll review lab safety and sanitation procedures. Every student will receive an activity packet to complete during the week. Packets will be checked next week. You will be assessed on the content. |
